We are fortunate to be able to experience landscapes, cultures and lives different from our own, and to observe the world in all its forms. It is a continuous exploration of the world around us and of what lies within us.  <\/p><p>Looking out of an airplane window and seeing the sea give way to the desert, gazing down at a strip of land and wondering who lives down there, what is happening at that very moment. Then, as you get closer, everything takes on detail and meaning. <\/p><p>Kenya is a place that teaches you to slow down. <em>Pole pole <\/em>\u2013 slowly, as they say in Swahili.<\/p><p>Of course, there are the animals: lions, elephants, giraffes and all that wildlife we\u2019d only ever seen in documentaries until just a short while ago. But what stays with us goes beyond simply spotting them. It\u2019s the silence of the savannah at sunset, the feeling of being guests in a world that exists independently of us. It\u2019s the boundless horizons that remind us just how small we are and, at the same time, just how precious our time here is.   <\/p><p>It is patience. The ability to wait for the right moment. A sense of pure wonder.  <\/p><p>A safari begins as a quest for the wild, but the real journey is the one that this wildness takes within
