we visit one of its most important cities: Assisi,<\/strong> which is only a 15-minute drive from Spello.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"84\" data-end=\"592\">Although we are not particularly interested in the clerical world \u2013 here, half the people you meet in the streets are monks, and half the shops sell clothes for priests (after all, we are in the birthplace of St. Francis) \u2013 we nevertheless appreciated the architecture of the old town: all the buildings are built with a particular local stone, with its characteristic reddish colour, which gives the town an atmosphere all its own. The medieval charm, then, is really undeniable. <\/p><p><strong>A sandwich at a <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/fiZ5asqo5qj83gPG6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kiosk<\/a> in the centre and we set off again for Sirolo, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivieradelconero.info\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conero Riviera (Marche).<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>Unfortunately, time is pressing and we are unable to take a dip in the beach. If you have a few more days, take some time to visit this beautiful area and stretch of coastline, which has much to offer. <\/p><p><strong>Unlike the neighbouring seaside areas of Romagna \u2013 characterised by stretches of sand as far as the eye can see \u2013 here the white cliffs plunge straight into the sea, forming bays and small inlets of unique charm.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d048fa e-flex Although we are not particularly interested in the clerical world \u2013 here, half the people you meet in the streets are monks, and half the shops sell clothes for priests (after all, we are in the birthplace of St. Francis) \u2013 we nevertheless appreciated the architecture of the old town: all the buildings are built with a particular local stone, with its characteristic reddish colour, which gives the town an atmosphere all its own. The medieval charm, then, is really undeniable. A sandwich at a kiosk in the centre and we set off again for Sirolo, on the Conero Riviera (Marche). Unfortunately, time is pressing and we are unable to take a dip in the beach. If you have a few more days, take some time to visit this beautiful area and stretch of coastline, which has much to offer. Unlike the neighbouring seaside areas of Romagna \u2013 characterised by stretches of sand as far as the eye can see \u2013 here the white cliffs plunge straight into the sea, forming bays and small inlets of unique charm.
