the last swim

It’s really true: time flies when you’re having fun, and in no time we find ourselves repacking.
Some nostalgia is there, yes… but next weekend we’ll be back on the road!

Fortunately, the return flight is in the evening, so we also live this last day to the fullest.

Still charged up from the incredible experience of the day before, we decide not to miss any water sport, we also tried sup. We rent it from Skiathos Supway for an hour, at a cost of 30 euros. Paddling along the bay, we discover small hidden beaches, accessible only by sea (or by climbing the rocks… your choice!).

For lunch we go back to Nikos, downtown, for the last pita of the vacation, and then one last drive to imprint on us as much of that very relaxed atmosphere, so typical of Greece.

Sitting comfortably in an airport chair, we review the photos and videos taken the day before by Panos. He gives the opportunity, for those who wish, to study from home the theory and then return to the island and get their scuba diving certification, spending four days diving with him.

May this be the perfect excuse for us to return as well?

As an old Chinese proverb says, “Maybe yes, maybe no. We shall see.”
